I am Marie Shawntay! I am a 24 yr old Model, club/party host and aspiring actress. I am currently living in Lake Balboa CA, but I grew up in Long Beach CA. I graduated from Paramount High School, where I ran varsity track all four years. It was a lot of fun and it gave me foundation and discipline. I am relatively new to modeling and acting and this is my very first publication. Im super excited and grateful to SHOW magazine for giving me this opportunity!

Ive had the pleasure of working with a Nigerian hip-hop recording artist Named Ice Prince (google him) lol. I was a lead model in his music video Aboki. I hosted Nelly and Snoop Doggs ESPY Awards after party, which was a lot of fun. I did back ground on the TV show Kingdom staring Nick Jonas, as well as in the movie Stright Outta Compton, directed by F.Gary Gray where I was lucky enough to be in 5 scenes.

I love to run! I run at least two miles each morning. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, partying, cooking, being silly (I got jokes) lol, or just lounging on my couch with my head buried in a good book. I love people, I can see the good in absolutely anybody. I would best describe this phase of my career as the quiet before the storm. You will definitely be seeing a lot more of this chocolate girl!
