At a very young age, LOWDOWN babe Marina Mendes knew she wanted to be a model. At the age of ten, Mendes was already taking modelling lessons and competing in beauty pageants in Brazil and by the time she was fifteen, had already been appearing in fashion magazines and billboards.
Moving to Canada at just seventeen to pursue her modelling career, Mendes like many other aspiring models ended up in Los Angeles. Since moving to LA Mendes has featured in numerous television commercials and music videos for artists such as The Fray and Wiz Khalifa.
Her dream modelling gig would be with one of her favourite designers; Versace. “I have always been inspired by their clothes, styling and photo shoots and would feel honoured to work with the people at Versace. Also, Versace conducts their shoots on location around the world. Travelling for work would be a dream come true!”
