Sometimes it is good to see the world in black and white. With out distracting colors we are forced to see the simplicity and beauty within our subject matter. At least that is my interpretation with photography. Continuing to showcase my affection for timeless b & w imagery I felt like sharing a new set from my shoot with Katya Henry. The location we had rented out featured this awesome rug in the living room that would serve as a the main backdrop for these photos. The contrast of her skin, the outfit, the rug and the light was crying out a b/w shoot to me. I shot away with my Monochrom with the resulting images below. Take a look and I hope you enjoy!
