I love being able to shoot with a model in a setting that isn’t the “norm” to them. When I had the opportunity to shoot inside a garage up at Speedway located in the High Desert area outside of Los Angeles with Yovanna Ventura I was up for the challenge.

There is something timeless about mixing a beautiful model with the machinery of race cars. I figured it would be fun to see my take on it. After we sorted out her wardrobe we shoot over a few areas of the garage. Opting to use the existing lighting in the garage versus some strobes, I felt it would give me a more real vibe then the artificial lighting you get from flashes and what not. I was more than happy with the outcome of this shoot. Getting to work with Yovanna in a different setting was fun and a good change of pace for both of us!
