Top 25 of the Decade – Hoopz

The instant I turned on the premiere of “Flavor of Love,” I knew if there was going to be a breakout star from the show, it was going to be Nikki. I had seen pic s of her off and on with EyeCandyModeling, but now the entire world was getting to see her every week (and who could have guessed the power of Flava Flav). The first few episodes she wasn’t the center of attention, but she was so gorgeous I knew that was going to chance.

We went immediately into overdrive trying to find her, calling literally everyone we knew. Just a few weeks after the show debuted, I was with her in NY at her Blackmen Magazine shoot and we’ve been as tight as siamese midgets ever since.

Nikki is the reason every girl after her went on a VH1 reality show. No one had any idea how popular you could. If anyone tells you different they’re absolutely lying lol. Nikki, along with Buffie, created the market for hosting parties around the country. She toured the country 10 times over, at times having events in different cities from every weekend of every month. No one was doing that before and everyone’s been trying to do it since.

Of course guys liked Nikki, but it was amazing to see the reaction she’d get from women and even kids. We were in awe when we would all go to a mall and she would just be swarmed by masses of people. As she’s getting swarmed, we’d just look at each other a say “yea…she’s a star!”

She was able to be XXL Eyecandy of the Month , on the cover of KING, and has 3 Blackmen covers under her belt, including her most recent cover shot in Jamaica where I destroyed my ankle after she conned me into a game a basketball. And she was the first winner of “I Love Money,” of which she hasn’t even taken me to Red Lobster with MY portion of the prize!
