The Kanye West x Nike Air Yeezy 2 is the second installment of Nike’s collaboration with Kanye West; three years after the original Air Yeezy marked the sneaker brand’s first collaboration with a non-athlete. She has also become a respected force behind the camera as well, art directing & consulting for budding and established brands.
Personally, Vanessa Veasley also looks up to Kanye West. “I’ve worked with him twice in my video vixen days (“Wouldn’t Get Far” & “Amazing”) & both times he had a polite yet commanding energy. I love that in a time when so many people love to tell others to “stay in their lane”, he never has! It inspires me, respectively, not to stay in mine. To do me & expend as much creative energy I can in as many areas as my heart desires.”
