We finally broke our like 4 year streak on knowing each other yet never been able to get together to shoot. Can you please tell our readers at home how just absolutely fantastic I am lol…

I know it has been a while sine we’ve known each other! Definitely a long time coming for us to shoot, but I’m glad it finally happen. And yes readers Bari is very fantastic you gotta love him!

What motivated you to first get started in modeling?

I started off acting and modeling at a young age so I think it’s always been a part of me. But when I decided to pursue Glamour modeling as a career was actually when I was in my last year of college. I’ve always loved the camera even if I didn’t model I would still shoot because it’s something that I enjoy the whole proccess especillay setting up my own shoots, It allows me to be creative in more that one way.

What are your biggest assets as a model?

Hmm I think the physical assets may be a little obvious so I won’t speak on those..lol there is more than what meets the eye. But my opinion of my assets are that I can bring more than just being a model to the table I’m a Jane of all trades. I’m also a licensed cosmetologist, a Wadrobe stlylist in the sense that I style myself for most of my shoots, and from time to time a shoot coordinator.

What are the best and worst things about being in front of the camera?

The best thing about being in front of the camera is the freedom and I don’t have a worst because I enjoy it so much.

Give me the biggest differences between being from Baltimore and now living in Atlanta?

The biggest difference is that I find more industry related work in Atlanta than I did in Baltimore. And of course Baltimore is home and always will be, it’s my roots and gave me my foundation for who I am now and will become later.

You were a part of King’s first ever Web Girl of the Year contest. How much attention did that bring to you?

It definitely helped to build my fan base and to get my name out there. It also helped lead to other magazine opportunites and more video work.

Just a few months ago you graced the pages of King again in their Hollywood Issue …how did that opportunity come together?

I just so happen to be in NY with a friend and I went to say wassup to the KING family. My Boy Sean Malcom asked me to take a few shots for future opportunites while I was there and the day before I was about to fly back to ATL he called me saying they wanted to use me for the Magzine’s next issue. I guess it was just met to be. We also did a KING TV interview you gotta check it out on KINGTV.com it’s very funny.

When you shot for J’Adore Magazine, you had a spread with rapper Stat Quo. How different was it shooting with another person rather than by yourself?

I like shooting with other people, I’ve done a few shoots with other models as well. I like it because it allows you to play off one anothers creativity. And Stat was cool so it made it very easy to shoot with him.

Uhhh hmmmm…so Shy….was that you in the shower all glistening… with water all ova yo body… in DJ Drama’s “5000 Ones” video?

Lol. Yes that was me…lol another classic video shot during BET awards weekend in the ATL.

Of the videos you’ve been featured in…which turned out to be your favorite?

I think my favorite so far was Jim Jones “We Fly High” (Ballin) Remix video. But my favorite experience so far has been working with Tyler Perry on the house of Payne check out my episode appearance on my www.youtube.com/user/SHYSALTOR.

What other projects will we be seeing you in coming soon?

My next video apperance is Ace Hood’s “Ride or Die” Remix Video featuring damn near everybody! It’s gonna be one of the years hottest videos Directed by Rage and models casted by my company SHYone.ent. I’m also featured in the latest issue of Sweets Magazine so pick that up people!
