What was your first spread in a major publication and what was your reaction?

My first spread, first anything with modeling was Smooth Magazine & then King magazine. I shot for both in the same week, back to back literally. I shot Smooth one day & King 4 days later. Just for the record that’s a no no but it wasn’t my fault. My reaction when they actually came out & I saw myself … it really just solidified that whatever I put my heart & mind into would inevitably happen, I was staring at actual proof of it.

What about the reaction you got from your “Backshot” pic in King Magazine?

I was told by one of the editor’s that the next issue with my spread, following the one with my backshot was there top selling issue ever. I won’t take credit but I will say I was glad to be apart of it. But I will say if you look back before I came out there wasn’t really any white girls out built like me like me. Gloria Velez was the lightest thing on the block, not even Coco had stepped into the scene yet but right after that issue hit it seemed like white girls with booty were popping out the woodwork & all doing the same look over the shoulder flex your booty shot :) So I think it encouraged a lot of women, & that’s cool with me.

What was your experience like shooting your recent spread for SmoothGirl in Jamaica?

It was beautiful in Jamaica, extremely nice people , & gorgeous views. On the ride to the resort it’s like your just on this open road in the middle of a huge forest, there’s goats & cows walking up the highway & it’s miles & miles before you get to the next tiny 3 house village.. it’s amazing & odd at the same time, you have to see it to know what I’m talking about. I just don’t like how you go from run down shacks to exclusive resorts, someone needs to do something about that. But aside from that the girls were so sweet & of course everyone at Smooth is always so kind to me; so it was one of the best experiences I’ve actually had as a model so far.

And tell us the wildest thing you saw while at Hedonism? And be honest!!!

I can’t it was too gross, but there was two sides of the beach. The prudes were on one & the super freaks on the other. I was definitely on the prude side but every now & then when I’d be a little curious, I’d tip toe over to the other side but ..well let’s just say… I never stayed too long.

How is it when you get to interact with your fans?

In person it’s such a great feeling, especially when their a little kid & they’re like “your so pretty, or I saw you in..” it makes me feel really good. However, in regard to reacting with my fans online like myspace or facebook; to be honest it does get tiring sometimes, just because everybody expects a response from you. An you want to respond to everyone but sometimes you just can’t, or it takes a horribly long time. Then people get the wrong idea that you either don’t care or are stuck up or something. I don’t like that part of it. But I really love anyone that would consider themselves a “fan” & I’m fully aware that without them I would be nothing in this business, so interacting with them does mean a lot to me.

What part of your body are you most complimented on?

Well, a compliment would be a good thing. An I know you expect me to say my butt :p which I do get a lot of comments on. But actually people aren’t always saying nice things about me when it comes too that either that it’s fake,or I’m fat or it’s too big whatever rude thing they can think of. So with that said it would have to be my green eyes that I get the most compliments. An the eyes are the window to your soul ; so when people tell me my eyes are beautiful that’s a true compliment to me.

What part do I need to compliment you on to have a chance?

You as in you Bari..boy get outta here ..lol :)

I see you out and I know “this may be my chance”…what can I do not to f’ it all up?

Just come up to me, most people won’t come up to me at all when I’m out; & if they do they’ll tell me something like they were scared to ’cause they thought I’d be conceited or mean…I hate that because I love meeting new people. If you see me & want to come up to me just do it, how could you fuck anything up if you just be yourself. Plus take the chance when you can ’cause you won’t find me out & about too much :)

What’s your biggest asset as a model?

My drive & tenacity..even though I like your choice of play on words Big..gest Ass..et..cute

Saaaaaay….what ever happened to your website? We’ll be seeing another one soon?

I’m not sure, everyone & their grandma wants to do a new site for me right now. I took mine down because it was a members site & the whole members thing was just not something I could keep up with. I didn’t want to do the same redundant shots over & over again even though I’m sure my members could have cared less. I just really didn’t have the time & I wasn’t about to rip anyone off. I do have 2 sites up now one for acting the other for modeling . I made them on my own; I’m have no expertise in the graphic design field but on this website called moonfruit it’s super easy. It’s based out of Europe so it’s not too popular around here yet but I like it & it works for now ’til I decide what I’m gonna do & who I’m gonna do it with.

Tell us about some of your biggest career accomplishments outside of modeling?

For me it would be completing two movies this year in 2008. I want to keep up that momentum if not more. Every year from this point on I want to have @ least 3-4 good credits under my name & slowly work my way up that ladder. I’m also very proud of myself because school has never really been my thing even though I always got good grades but I’ve decided to remain diligent & am steadily working on getting my Associate degree in broadcasting.

What other projects will we be seeing you in coming soon?

A lot of independents…look for both my films House Arrest & The Blunted House coming soon to DVD. I also just found out a movie I shot with Dub C & Game just released as Belly 2. We did it like 3 yrs. ago so I look way different but despite the reviews that it’s getting it’s always nice to see your work out there. I’m also getting ready to shoot a pilot, so possibly it will get picked up & I’ll be apart of the main cast. An I also just did a webisode spoof called “Who’s Lil Scooby” for BET, plus I have few more projects in the works. I don’t think I’ll be doing many more men’s magazines unless it’s one I haven’t already shot for. There is a few in the same genre I’ve turned down; not because there bad it just isn’t the look I wanna keep going for, I’ve pretty much gone as far as I wanted to with that whole thing. I will be working with a Chinese pop star on a upcoming production but you may have to be in China to peep that.

What do you want the next steps in your career to be?

Well, as much as I ‘d like to say… I’ve learned not to disclose to much about my game plan. Just as I have on myspace in this game there’s a lot impersonators, which is cool I’d just rather keep it a secret on the next move I plan to make..but I can say I’ve been acting, modeling, writing, studying, learning & I can promise you I’m not going anywhere!
