How did you get started in modeling?
I started modeling 5yrs ago when I ran into photographers Patrick Admas (2Starz Studio) & Bogan (Desired Images).
Who have been some of your favorite photographers to work with?
My favorite photographers that I have worked with thus far are Arturo Lord, Patrick Adams, Bogan, and Ryan O’Nash, and Del Anthony.
When did people start to recognize you from your success in modeling?
People started recognizing my face from the television shows that I have hosted, interviews with well know people, calendars, cd inserts, and magazines.
Tell us about your recent shoot for Urban Ink with Flo Rida…
The photoshoot that I had with Flo-Rida wasn’t any different from any other photshoot, everyone made was making jokes, laughing, and having fun.

Let me just say…I still not over the fact that I came ALL THE WAY to Atlanta and we didn’t shoot…even if it was a little my fault. So how long are we going to have to wait to get you in front of a camera???

How did you first get started in modeling?
Got casted as an extra on Atl in 05 on my 1st day on set Chris Robinson moved me up to a featured position and I played Big Boi’s girlfriend. I met so many people on set I just kept getting booked back to back. The day we wrapped on Atl I flew to Miami to shoot with AJ Alexander and got booked for Big Tiggers Kittens calendar where Hoopz, who was then know as Nikki, was my hotel roomate. Upon returning to Atl, I was booked for A TI video, the next day a Nelly video and from there on out I knew this is what I want to do full time.
What are your biggest assets as a model?
Obviously to be a model you have to have a great body so I wont state the obvious. I have great hair, skin and teeth… yeah weird but I have a very versitle look and I prefer to shoot with out hair extentions and depending on the hair style I can look like 10 different people. I also and very athletic so I have a lot of muscle definition which translates great on camera.
Of all of the videos you’ve had a chance to be featured in…which ones stand out the most and why?
Hhhmmmm… I’ve been blessed to work with great directors and great artists. I think I’d have to say I really enjoyed Working with Lil X on a Sean Kingston/ Intel Centrino venture. The shoot was in LA and we wrapped in just about 10 hrs. I really enjoyed it because Lil X is a very expressive director who knows how to translate his vision and makes our job sweatless. I also have to say I love working wit Nzinga. Shes a woman who knows how to make a woman look great and her ideas are always sensual with out being trashy. I almost hate to pick a favorite when I’ve been so blessed to work with great directors like Benny Boom, Lil X, Life Garland, Lenny Bass, Fat Cats, Nzinga Stewart, Jessy and Ulysses Tererro and so many more. I’ve worked with increadible artists from T.I. to Nelly To Ciara to Lil Wayne and so on.

How did you get started in modeling?
I had opened up a clothing store in Century City Westfield Mall and I got approached by 2 guys and asked if I modeled??? I said a few times but it was nothing major. So we exchanged info and I had a job the next week for this new clothing line in LA…
What are your biggest assets as a model?
My exotic look, skin, face and breasts!!!
What are the best and worst things about being in front of the camera?
The best thing would be that I have total control to flirt and act in the moods that I feel without anyone talking back…. haha
The worst would be posing in angles that was a big no no….
There’s no doubt you get an insane number of requests from photographers interested in shooting you. What makes you want to work with one person over another?
As soon as we decided to celebrate a couple of our boys 30th birthdays in Vegas, I immediately knew I had to somehow get together with Glory while I was out there. And shesssh….she’s a killer! I lover her lol. Shouts out got to photographer Bobby Berosini to helping us put this all together. And you know I gots them pics coming!!!
I started when I was 14yrs old. I told my mom I was interested and she did everything she could to get me started from there.
What are your biggest assets as a model?
I really think my look is a big thing, seems lately that most photographers think my face is great. But I also believe that I have a great personality, I’m very professional, so working with me is really easy.
What are the best and worst things about being in front of the camera?
The best think about being in front of the camera is being able to portray, at times, a character other than myself, or a side of myself that I don’t display very often. The whole creativity of being a part of a photoshoot is great. The worst parts of being in front of the camera for me are the times when I’m really not feeling well and trying very hard to fake the funk so it doesn’t show in the pictures and the fact that the camera picks up everything! Being on top of my posing game is key.
Something I’ve wanted to do since I was a little girl and saw women like Vanessa Williams and Carmen Electra. Believe it or not I have always been into music videos and new from an early age that I wanted to be those girls in the videos. It just looked so much fun and they were so beautiful!
What do you feel seperates you as a model?
I’m very patient and I won’t settle for less. If it is offered I don’t just jump. You have to be choosey about your image. I think also I love to be around people and they love to be around me (wink,wink)!
What are the best and worst things about being in front of the camera?
Its a lot harder than what people think. I really don’t have to go to the gym anymore b/c I get such a workout when I’m doing a shoot. But its awesome to see how I look after seeing or disussing ideas and then seeing the finished product. I love the camera!
I was 14 when I was introduced to Modeling and this was in Colombia. I was scouted while having a family get together in River Pance. I was only modeling while I stood in Colombia and I completly stopped to focus on Dance. I started in the US about 2yrs ago and it’s been a great experience.
What are the best and worst things about being in front of the camera?
Hum… the best things about being in front of the camera is that you get the chance to play a role. Come on, the hair, the make-up, ,clothes, your performance, and the team behind it all can make it or brake. The worst??? Wow, for me I would have to say it would depend on the photographer (luckly I haven’t had no bad ones lol), cause if the photographer makes you feel uncomfortable, FORGET IT lol.

Who have been some of your favorite photographers to work with?
Oh Man… My Photographers are absolutely awesome. Respectful, knowledgable, and I must say I come up with Random ideas so they have to be a little bit crazy to work with me lol. I love them.
A lot of us first saw you in 50’s “I Get Money,” but how did you first get your start in modeling?
I came in this industry as a choreographer and the directors and casting directors had a strong response to my talent and beauty. From theire I recieved my first lead role in Young Bucks “I Know U want Me” Video
Once people started to recognize you from the video…how many people actually thought you were 50’s baby mother lol?
Most people were aware that i was not 50’s baby mother due to the current court case. But i was asked by a few people if i was seeing him.
It seemed like were in both the Source and XXL in about same week lol…how did both of those opportunities come about?
Right after the “I Get Money” video, my agents went to work and i was submitted and selected to shoot for both magazines. I shot The Source First and then a few weeks after Bonsu from XXL contacted me to shoot for XXL. They were aware that i had recently shot fot The Source but they still wanted to shoot me anyway.
When did you start modeling and how’d you get involved?
I actually started when I was about 15 years old. My brother Giovanni Fajardo a New York Fashion Designer/pattern maker worked with a lot of Celebraties from Brittany Spears to Janet Jackson. He would make special garments for their Videos/red carpet events/concerts/etc…and I would be the model to try on everything before they did I was his fitting Model For about 4 years. I was also involved in a few fashion shows back in the days.
What’s the biggest difference between being in NY, where you’re from, and Miami?
Miami was much different than the new York scene that I was used to, I was drawn to the lifestyle and people…And of course the weather. It’s summer all year around almost. I’m definitely a tropical girl!!
Tell us about being involved in last year’s BET Rip the Runway?
It was a great experience. I got to work with a good friend of mine Designer Lila Nikole of Amaya Swimwear which was both our first time there!!
What are some of the other modeling projects you’ve had a chance to be apart of?
I was also involved in This years 2008 BET Spring Bling and did my first ads for Blissberry Yogart spot in 944 magazine and Ocean drive.
Which of your fake Myspace pages is your favorite? You’ve got a lot of them to choose from lol.
My Favorite one is the one that called them self Simply Jaz. I actually don’t have the link but I saw it a while back. They really took the time to make it look like if it was real. I tagged most of my photos and they tagged right over it with “Simply Jaz” too funny.

Enough about me…tell us how you got started in modeling?
In the Summer of 2007, I was in a magazine online competition and a guy who is my agent now (JayDee) saw me and loved my look. He contacted me and I’ve been working with 1208Models ever since.
You’re first spread in a national mag was in Smooth Magazine? Give us all the details about that shoot…
I loved the shoot…I love Sandy (Publisher of SMOOTH & SMOOTHgirl)…it was amazing.
From the hair, make up and my outfits…everything was on point. It was a very tasteful shoot…not only did they put me in the magazine (a big 10 page spread), they also put me in the SMOOTH 2008 Calendar as Ms. November, and I was #40 on the SMOOTH 100 All-Time List in their 2007 Year-End Issue.
I was his fitting Model For about 4 years. I was also involved in a few fashion shows back in the days.
