Last week in the UGR, I asked everyone to help us pick a surface color for our new “Flying K’s Theme” for XboxLIVE. I also, hit up our followers on Twitter, MySpace and Facebook. After checking all the feedback, the black surface took the cake. I must admit, I was pulling for the silver surface, but it only got a few votes. Black was my #2 choice, so it’s all good. I want to thank everyone for taking the time to provide us with feedback. As we move forward and do bigger and better things for the gaming community, we have to make sure we are giving you guys what you want. So look out for more feedback request.

Congrats to the KKZers that made it League 1. The first battle for 4000 points has began!

Since 2002, Skillz release a rap-up song on New Year’s Eve of the yearly events that took place during the year in Hip-Hop. One of the events that Skillz talked about is when Bow Wow was defeated in NFL Madden 09 to The Game. In case you didn’t know The Game and Bow Wow played a game of Madden in L.A. hosted by KONSOLE KINGZ during MTV VMA’s weekend. Word is Michael Phelps and 505 Games are working together on the Olympic swimmer’s own game. So if you’re like me, I know you’re thinking what kinda game could you possibly make based on a swimmer?!? Well peep this…a “pure action” swimming game (lol). The President of 505 Games, Adam Kline, stated that while swimming will make up a part of the game don’t expect to just swim back and forth in a pool. Apparently they have big expectations for this project considering Kline said he “believes this game is the next Tiger Woods project”. But I guess we’ll have to wait till we get the whole scoop on this thing…

The famed 360 gamer Soulja Boy has a new unofficial video for his song “Grind On”. Check out how they used the avatar on the dashboard in the vid…kinda tight huh.
