Who/what inspired you to get into modeling ?
I’ve always found the art of modeling to be intriguing. Growing up I struggled on and off with self-esteem issues due to my weight. For years I use to imagine myself being secure enough to model in front of a lens and feel proud of what I saw on the screen. I could never seem to get to where I wanted with my weight so I turned to learning how to do makeup. I worked at this for years and fell in love with the fact that not only can I make myself beautiful but I could help others do the same. About 7 months ago I decided to finally make a change in my life to achieve the body I’ve always wanted. For 6 months I worked hard. I exercised, stuck to my diet and stayed focused. I achieved the healthier body I prayed for and now it was time to achieve my personal goal, to do a photo shoot with my new found body. I am proud to say this spread is THAT photo shoot ! I’m so happy to share this with all of you and it is my hope that in writing this ; if there is anyone else who is going through or went through a similar mindset that I had in the beginning of my journey to a more healthy life, that you will see this spread and be empowered by the confidence that I have now found as a result of me achieving my personal goal for no one other than myself.
