How did you get started in modeling?

Well I got back into modeling about a year and a half before separating from the United States Air force, which was about 2 yrs ago. It started as just a hobby at first. I was always interested in fashion and the behind the scene work something in me just wanted to see where I could take this in the spotlight and so far so good.

What’s the sexiest thing about you?

What I would say the sexiest thing about me are my eyes. What do they say, “The eyes are the windows to your soul?” I believe, as far as being someone’s lover, being able to connect with ones soul is the sexiest thing ever.

What’s something even your mom doesn’t know about you?

Hmmm…a lot of things…ha ha, but to narrow it down lets see…I have done implied nude shoots which there isn’t anything I am ashamed about, but I just never mentioned them to her because sometimes she get over dramatic and makes a big deal. Sometimes you just don’t want to hear that ya know…lol

Tell us about your nomination for the Southern Entertainment Awards?

Wow, what a huge surprise it was! I have done and accomplished a lot over the past year itself and to be honest I am not a person to go around and gloat about all the things I do. I figure that in the end my hard work would pay off and in this case I got the recognition and the nomination for being SEA Slept on Model of the year. I couldn’t be anymore thrilled!!

So after you win…what should we expect next?

Ha! Yes I am going to win ^_^ and to make sure it happens got to promote and tell ya’ll to go to http://www.southernentawards.com/ballot/vote.html. and vote me in!!! What you should expect next is def. me being a household name…more work and more progress!!!! Next year I am going for Top model, Impact Model and Model of the year!! I know I can do it! Just expect me to continue to be me and be on top of things!

What part of your body are you most complimented on?

Def. my legs and stomach and of course the booty!! ;O) The legs are what I get the immediate attention from though.

Whats your biggest turn-off?

Anyone not being real with themselves. I can def. tell when someone is trying too hard to be something they are not. Just stop frontin’ if I am not feelin’ you I am not it is what it is but don’t bend over backwards for anyone to compromise yourself! Oh and stank ass feet….lol

If I can stay away from that…what else can I do to improve my chances?

What other projects do you have coming up?

Things you can expect from me next is the launch of jessicarochelle.com its going to be a little something different. I am dedicated more and more to writing and completing the first series of my video blogs. Also you know, if you already didn’t, you can catch me with my Core Dj family and fellow Core Models. The next event we have up is the Core Retreat in Myrtle Beach Oct 10th-13th hope to see you there! We are always doing it big as well as my extended family down in Jacksonville Fl. Southern Syrup, What it do!!?? Planning to do more media work with them as far as hosting and interviewing and of course gentlemen, I will be next year’s fantasy calendar girl as well as gracing some of your favorite publications while hitting up the fashion world. Just keep ya eye on me…I am constantly grinding!

What do you want the next steps in your career to be?

I def. want to become an impact in the community and for other fellow models trying to make it. Along the lines of model development, management or mentorship. Def. along the lines of what Tyra Banks has done and is doing. She is such a motivation to me to do and be better especially not getting caught up in all the bull shit that can come with this field of work. I am absolutely going to be going hard with spokes modeling…I have too much energy not to lmom. My goal is to do some work with MTV or BET with Vj’ing or hosting events…that would be the shit!
